A Day Trip to the Phi Phi Islands

Start your day early.
Most speedboats leave from Phuket or Krabi by 7:30 AM.
Smaller groups mean fewer delays—choose wisely.

The first stop is usually Maya Bay.
Famous from The Beach, it opens only for limited hours.
You can’t swim, but you can walk along the sand and take photos.

Next is Pileh Lagoon.
Jump into calm, emerald water.
You’re surrounded by cliffs—it feels like a secret pool.

Cruise past Viking Cave.
Locals climb bamboo ladders to harvest bird nests.
It’s interesting, even if you just pass by.

Arrive at Phi Phi Don for lunch.
Expect grilled seafood, rice, and tropical fruits.
You’ll have time to explore, swim, or just sit under a palm tree.

Optional stop at Monkey Beach.
Monkeys roam freely—they might try to grab your snacks.
Keep your distance and watch quietly.

Final stop is often Bamboo Island.
White sand, clear water, and fewer people.
Great place for one last swim or a quiet nap.

Return by 4 or 5 PM.
Tired but happy.
You’ve seen the best of the Phi Phi Islands in just one day.

Do you prefer snorkeling, relaxing, or sightseeing?
This trip gives you all three.
